About the school of mortgage lending

 Our Credentials

The School of Mortgage Lending was established in 1991 in Seattle Washington as a division of Professional Resource Group, a temporary staffing firm for mortgage lending. It became apparent that the company needed to cross train its field staff to get better efficiency in placement. Soon lenders were calling asking if they could send their staff to the in-house training sessions, and voila! The School of Mortgage Lending was born.

Since that time, either the School or its courses have been approved in the following states: WA, OR, AZ, KS, TX, WI, IL, IN, OH, KY, WV, PA, MD, NC, SC, GA, ME and FL, a total of 18 states, and more are in process all the time. In addition, we are or have been approved in 28 real estate schools and 15 community colleges.

Known as the high quality provider of mortgage training, our student satisfaction rate is 93%. That is, 93% of our quality control respondents would recommend the experience to others. In addition, we have one of the most comprehensive course lists in the market today.

We are proud of the School of Mortgage Lending’s accomplishments to date, and continue to create the balance of a high quality learning experience, a user-friendly methodology and very competitive pricing.
